I am in a weird relationship with social media: on one hand I hate the everpresent digital consumerism, on the other I love sharing my own thoughts and opinions. Well, let's just say social media are tools like anything else and I am still not sure how to fully use them without falling into the traps of doomscrolling.

This blog was originally posted on Wordpress, I had my domain and posted occassaonilly but over time the prices hiked up and it became more and more restrictive. I am always on the lookout for cool new tech solutions and when I learned about Ghost, I decided to give it a try. It turned out to be just what I was looking for: fast, minimal and self-hostable.
